If The Graduate Had the Soundtrack from Garden State

You may remember the indie classic film Garden State for its awesome soundtrack personally chosen by director Zach Braff. While it is certainly great (featuring badass songs from Coldplay, The Shins, some band called Frou Frou, and more) believe it or not, it actually could have been better with all songs from the Dave Matthews Band. In my previous internet video (which you can view here: https://youtu.be/7vx8a8REDMc) I made the case that “Ants Marching,” “Crash Into Me” and the rest of the DMB catalog works perfectly synced alongside the touching tale of an ill man falling in love with a quirky beauty. But let’s not forget about the terrific Garden State soundtrack because, like I said, it’s sweet too. With that in mind, I decided to create a follow-up video using the Garden State soundtrack to provide the backdrop to another indie classic from yesteryear – that’s right, the 1967 movie where a young Dustin Hoffman gets seduced by Mrs. Robinson. The Graduate is definitely a great movie, but it’s tight to see it with all new songs instead of “Hello Darkness My Old Friend.” Hope you enjoy!
